Emerge Magazine: College Hoops Bottom 50 Graduation Rates

As reported in the article 'A Net Loss' by Jimmie Briggs in the December 1993 / January 1994 issue of Emerge Magazine, "African-Americans dominate basketball like no other sport. Sixty-four percent of the NCAA Division I men's basketball players are black, but when it comes to academics, the schools that recruited them usually foul out."

A study of the 1993 NCAA Division I Graduation Rates Report reveals that more than 40 major universities have graduated, within a six year period, none of there black basketball players...
